congruts. you discovered a possibility of DP to find out the underground tunnels, caves and graves. it gives big advantage now for new generation of handymen,
new fresh sea breath of DP.

had some spare time and completed 2 dp pcb's the problem is one is working but acting strange when the object is getting closer to coil it gives normal stronger signal then when i dont move it just keep the object still the signal starts fading and dissapears then i have to move the object again to get a signal , coil is 30cm 5.3ohm

that is a normal work of SAT. DP has advanced SAT but it is slowly acting. why slowly because DP is fit for no-motion (REAL no-motion) and big coil prospecting. if you want change SAT reaction so you have to change some values).

the other pcb doesnt see the coil at all it turns on and i can set the pots to get constant oscillations but it acts the same with or without coil and its doesnt see metal objects nor does the power knob react at all and the voltage regulator is completelly cold tried changing voltage reg ,ic 's and checking all the components again its all ok cant find the problem. ???

desolder IRF740, take o-scope and seach all timing. if all is OK then solder IRF back and observe output of LF357. you have to see clipped-at-top inverted 'delta pulse',
very bottom of it.

how much size of your coil is? what size of gold is not sensitive?

i think on small gold it just may not be very sensitive like rings and maybe pure gold, but my dp with a 32cm coil gets a 14k gold ring in air 12cm to 15cm. so not very far but the ring is small and the dp is made for large stuff.

coil size is 28CM. not sensitive for one ring

the coil size is big enough for the ring size. for example, in VLF design a planar coil 28cm has RX winding size a half of the size ie 14cm.

ONLY 14CM.

try learn whites double field coil, decrease the size of coil. also do what written many times - decrease PRIMARY STROBE DELAY and STROBE WIDTH.
