    Hi Brian.

The sample pulses should be rectangular pulses not square waves. As far as I can understand, the term "square wave" is not applicable for sample pulses of any kind in a P.I detector. I don't know why people use this term.

As far as I know, they should be flat topped and rise/fall time should be minimal with no overshoot.

The following document is a good read on the delta pulse. There are scope photos of the sample pulses included in the document.

Thank you I will read that. The sample pulses I was referring to are the output from the 14538 monostables which control the 4066 gates, not the actual sample of the coil voltage.

Yes, sample pulses (sample timing control pulses aka sample pulse train) are coming from the 4538's outputs. They can't be anything else.

If you have not try the first version of Delta Pulse either Turkish or from master KT315, just do the first version first,..so if you encounter problem there are a lot
            of here can help.

              Thank you kt315

              What is the schematics diagram?
It is moded of old Delta Pulse if you have not made Delta Pulse try the original version either Turkish or from master KT315 version, it works the same what I like
of Kt315 version is the fewer POTS will be used. hoping to build it soon when I found the the file.

                  • covid project LOL! fine... just last step... you can connect a coil and tune 100Hz, or 120, depending on your country 50 or 60Hz.

                    • Board quality is perfect. Thanks Anatoli
First one I will use with small coil and setting to 300Hz. After I will add switch for big and small coil selection.

When I was changed C1=10n, R1=180K frekans has been 500-600Hz.
So, I did R1=270K and C1=15n. Now working between 250-350Hz.
Because our astable oscillator working with 1N4148.
                      Frekans calculation..... f=1/0.7x(R1+R2)xC1
                      just info.

                      • 1. i double all tracks on both sides. this way raises reliability of pards, not so much but does.
                        2. it gives better view checking of the tracks. you SEE the connections by eyes.
                        3. nobody does the duplication because thinking that is a redundancy. 1 oz is thin copper layer.
                        4. i have probably to add viases on sockets pads - some people break metalization of the holes resoldering sockets (freaks).

                        • Hi frends.

My corona project finished but tests ongoing not on site (inside home).
                          I'm using test coil diameter 11cm and 450uH. Freq=300hz.
I have got two pcs LF357 but different brand.
I was attached T1 (output of LF357) signal.
Anybody can explain to me which one is correct and other fake opamp?
                          Thanks.

                          • buy old LF356 and compare your 357's with it. there is not a way to check and to answer you sure right.
what chineses put in the IC housing is unknown. take old TL081 from trash boards and compare. TL081
                            has to work good.

                            • Today I found old stock lf357 at local dealer in my city.
                              So I'm happy.
I did slew rate test it with my scope and results are :
                              60V/uS (H to L)
                              88V/uS (L to H) so perfect results.
My fake opamps slew rates are 8-12V/uS.
After I will share detector sensitivity with orginal and fake opamp.
