  • yes that will work i have 100 x LM1117 ADJ's coming from ebay they need resistors to set value if yours is a 3.3v then it doesn't

    • Thanks Dom,,,,,Yes, they're 3.3v. Have I placed it correctly on the photo I posted? I always get confused with all the different layouts now,,lol,,but it's a lot of fun (and learning) building stuff,,,Thanks again,,,Marty

      • doing other tests and some more changes of components .. the pinpointer very stable from the beginning no longer need to readjust ... very stable more than the previous one I did

          • FM2 MD,.rar hello there is my work .. condesador 560 pf of polipropeno ,,, those of 1 nf of tantalio, those of 20 pf of multilayer ceramics .. those of more of polyester, .. it seems that the good quality of the capacitors influences a lot in stability ...

                    • Hiya Ricalbertvig,,,Do I still need to mount the 560R and 1k resistors if I use an LM1117 voltage regulator? Or can I leave them in? Thanks,,,Marty.

                      • @Ricalbertvig and Dom44,,,Could either of you please check this drawing I've done of Ricalbertvig's Mods to see if it's correct as all I have done is squared it all off and neatened up a few components,,Thanks in advance. Regards,,,Marty

                              • Hiya Ricalbertvig,,,,thanks for your posts. I have LM1117, which is a 3.3v regulator, and I have LM317T also. I will try the LM317T as you have done, but I was wanting to know, if I use an LM1117, do I still have to place the 600R and 1K resistor or do I have to remove them? I checked the BC337 pinout on my drawing and have placed them correctly. Thanks again,,,Marty
