Minelab Relic Hawk

I looked at a Minelab Relic Hawk today and the manual was dated 1998. I did a search here and didn't find out to much about its worth in dollars and in detecting relics. Any one here used one? If so what would be a fair price for one with a 15" coil(guess at actual size). Thanks in advance, Charles

I wanna build one but information is still incomplete to finish unit!
And I cant wait so much!If I have one original here with me the things will be much easyer.I just cant affort to give 1200$.But with some secrafices I will be able to give 500.

I cant affort this.This is the price for brand new unit with all the equipment bag,etc.And this one is used,dont have even earphones and someone have solder/desolder inside!I dont like the tought that its been touched!
If I had money I would buy it but we were talking for 500$!

That man explained that he did some "cosmetic" modifications on his RH.
Changed ear/batt connectors. Changed battery packs etc.etc...
I agree. Existing connector for earphones and battery is more than uncomfort. Because of it my device burned 2 years ago!

If you have 590e than dont hesitate - buy it!
You wont regret, i swear.
At least you can afford shipment directly, unlike me cose Serbia is not EU member and all the "jobs" are much more complicated and more expensive.
This exact RH is even better to buy cose all the drawbacks of original are corrected here by that clever man. I saw his explanations and all he done to mod it. I can only salute and agree with all he stated there. Like i said before, i had RH, worked with it and do know all the comfort problems during work.
So....it is really bargain.
