CHRIST AROSE! Means exactly that, Hristos Voskrese! (Christ is risen from the dead), orthodox Easter (Uskrs) version (sorry if i messed some terms here).

highlight mode-"LED" a third parameter "SG", eco-mode for indicators at the gap, and to lookout for lovers in the night :Mode to turn on backlight only when target is detected, if you love night hunting.

No audio amp in TX anymore, this stunt with MC34119 is not necessary at all, replaced w. 4421 and fine phase adj. is now on TX side. Interesting to mention, detector uses series resonant TX configuration (I will keep this for my needs) but, undocumented, on MCU pin 16 another signal is present, exactly 90deg out of phase reference, this can be used to drive transistor based stage and typical parallel resonant TX coil, nice for already or factory made coils with parallel tuning cap’s inside. Looks nice so far, not 10$ Deus, but better than some lower end commercial machines already.

I’m just barely read Russian but:

    Prošivkah : software, firmware version
    rekominduet′sâ: recomanded
    postroečnym: adjust(able) with
pal'chyk or minipal′čik: something like AA or AAA batteries, battery size anyway
Board of healthy and proverenna: PCB design checked
    Prfilâ : profile setting
    razbolansa. : disbalance (nulling)
    vyberaet′sâ : selects
psevdostatičeski : pseudostatic, motion mode with static gnd. compensation
    sooedinâût′sâ : connected (together)
    PTM: VDI, obviosly

Or nearly that, let someone with more knowledge correct this, otherwise, not that bad for machine translation (can be even worst disaster)

I will post here something more reasonable when finished

Let see how machine translation will crash on this one (meny description on Russian)?

What you think about device below? Yet another display sized VDI for detectors? Well, no. Complete display sized VLF detector with VDI, histogram, static or motion mode, auto gnd. compensation, variable frequency (4-16kHz in 10Hz steps), selectable audio mode, filter response, exclusion zone discrimination, 4 user selectable profiles ,coil nulling mode and more. Built using only 3 commonly available chips and handful of components, using internal Atmega ADC and software processing, from:

        http://radiodom.ucoz.ru/index/selektivnyj_metallodetektor_quot_krot_m_quot/0-14

Only thing I can claim so far is, software works and this thing can actually detect metal, no performance tests yet. I modified electronics slightly, so far only software is intact, will made PCB for it (non-SMD) when prototype phase is over and test it with various coils and conditions (pinpointer usage included). Interesting project. Maybe not the best machine, but simplest one to build so far. Work in progress, will be continued in another topic.

(More advanced version of this is “Quasar” already mentioned on this forum, but more complex.)
Good work Tepco, keep us informed please
        Regards

          Hello ,
perhaps Tepco could open a new thread on this MD.
It is getting hard to find which way is up..( posts about similar subjects are getting too mixed ).
Also Dave could you open a new one for your minipulse, Please Iam quite intersted.
The information that is relavent is getting spread across a lot of different threads.
          Cheers with respect.

You haven't messed it, it's alright!
That sentence we use here in Serbia (i believe in other Slavic Ortodox countries too) to salute each other on Uskrs (Easter) day.
              ...
Funny; my pc also crash each time i try to translate some russian pages!?!?
              Especially in Opera!?

Hehe, Ivconic my friend and fellow engineer, how are you, just taked about you, was your ears burning?
Just posted to a young begineer with no -5v on your TGSL design , and explained to check his pinouts on those transistors, brings back memorys of all the diffrent pinouts .
He was on about throwing the towel in, and as you can imagine I told him hes not allowed to here in Geotec, we dont except the word failure, we make it work by hook or by crook, right" thats what we are about , or at least most of us anyway.
Nice to here from you buddy' keep up the good work

It's probably being used in this context in a similar way to saying "Eureka!", or in a more Frankenstein way ... "It's alive!".

                              Hi John
Your right threads do get a bit messy.
I do intend to a tutorial on the Minipulse when time permits providing theres interest for the project here.
Its all up and going just doing experiments with different coil designs for it.
Took it to one of my permissions last thursday because the farmer had lost his tractor keys, 3 hrs later prestow found, together with allsorts of goodies for the bin
The man actually offered to pay me for time spent, got to say thats a first.

                              Regards

Ive ordered another one of those basp programmers from HK for a spare, just thought for £2.53 incl p/p its worth it, cant even buy the chip for that money here in uk.
Ive fitted a RS232 interface to the Minipulse, saves taking the top off when playing with programming.
