Is that so hard to search the forum for projects? TGSL, IDX, Hammerhead, Minipulse, Baracuda etc.

Most of them for beach.
And I don't want to do all of them I need exactly one get 20 cm in the ground for coin

I suppose any simple metal detector in the market it's depth 20cm under ground but my problem it's not allowed in my country because of this I asked for scheme
Also if 20cm under ground impossible to handle so what are you doing in this forum since 20 years ago.!!!

Nobody will verify how deep your detector goes, dont belive country limitations. Different objects different depth!
Build the TGSL or the IDX, read the topics!!!

TGSL-EDU. EDU is EDUcation, not more than. with your first experience - you MUST been EDUcated after TGSL-EDU built - you CAN
do something another, with more depth. there is not other way. just EDUcation AT FIRST, then all other.

TGSL will go deeper than 20cm with pretty accurate discrimination.
IDX (White's Classic III, the heck; i don't know why people call it "IDX" all the time???) will go even deeper than TGSL... BUT with not that accurate discrimination.

I misunderstood your question.
It is usual to see how people are (day)dreaming about extreme depths along with accurate discrimination.
But if you want 20-30cm depths on single coin; than it is real and doable.

I made surf master pro diy kit before but it's problem it's beeb a lot false signal not stable on meneral ground so I keep lowering sensitivity and depth suffer.
Is IDX stable on meneral ground?

Whenever i see "TGSL EDU" (or whatever) in forum posts; i don't feel good at all.
It is not fair.
TGSL is usually identified with what Eduardo did (absolutely nothing, except maybe corrected few traces on my pcb draw)... SEVERAL YEARS AFTER i initially did TGSL.
By saying this; i don't have any negative thoughts upon Eduardo, on contrary! I fully respect his work and appearance on this forum.
And this is not even his merit, he only posted his variation, with no second thoughts at all, i am sure about this.
This intentional "finger poke in eye" is generated by few other members, who can not stand my awkward personality.
Those "vodka drinkers" simply want to wipe out any trace of my existence on this forum. Until vodka destroys their liver totally.

As original and only one "author" of TGSL (Tesoro Golden Sabre Lite) i have full right to say something upon this.
There is no such thing as "TGSL EDU". There is only "TGSL".
TGSL is made on Malta, back in 2004. Hand drawn on piece of paper.
TGSL is very good detector if made right. And it is not easy to be made right at all.
It demands lot of skills and understanding.
Otherwise... vodka drinkers will be very happy with your dissatisfaction with TGSL.



P.S.
I bet that Giffords also don't feels good at all when see "TGSL" label placed on their original design.

"Small" PI designs from this forum will not satisfy you, obvious.
Like SurfPI or Barracuda.
Those are capable to detect single coin at 20cm depths if made really really proper.
But in most of the cases you will not bi satisfied with them.
Therefore you must switch to something more serious.
TGSL, White's Classic III, Magnum on steroids, IGSL, Admiral, Wave... SMW !
From this list i would suggest you SMW.
It is best trade off between "hard to make it" and final performances.
You will be amazed how deep it is, if you make it right.
Even better if you obtain some original coil for it.
Best coils for it are Minelab TS1000 (came with Musketeer) and newer Tesoro coils (came with Vaquero for example).
If made right; you will not believe what you will achieve with it.
Far bellow funny 20cm on single coin in soil.
Above all; it can discriminate very well against minerals and tiny soft irons at larger depths and almost all trash at shallower depths.
