I want to build a mgnum vlf. I will buy a coil and build the rest at my own. Can someone post the link with the last good working PCB layout and partlist.
Is there only a SMD layout out there. SMD is new to me......does someone sell ready etched PCB?

I still have a whole pile of SMD Magnum PCB's made from Ivonics files that he claimed was a working unit. Think there is 10 in the drawer and I have the SMT parts. Looking at getting rid of everything cheap. I am not building this detector too busy with other projects. $50US plus shipping. PM me if interested.

Newhobby.eu still has the 2 board Magnum TH (NH-2), with pre-wound coils for US$35. He (Violin) also has a Surf clone (NH-7), 2 Pic controlled units, a Delta Pulse clone, and more -all at VERY CHEAP PRICES.

@Tim....thank you. They are not available now on their page. They are marked as "coming soon". So i think they are available in the next weeks;-). Its good for people who dont want to work with SMD.......they are build for "old-school" soldering;-)

Magnum is kit with pre-made coil. Most others are pre-made, some with coil. Best to visit the site. Also Violin is quite helpful with info, schems and settings - once you purchase. I just watched his Pirate (NH-6) video-it seems to work better than mine...

Some minor differences, but basically the same detector. Disc1/2 instead of multi-pole switch. No tune-hold. No meter. Op-amp/trans/fet changes.
I have not built either so suggest you study these schems and original Magnum for differences.
Personally I would add meter.
