Too few details... how to say you need this or that for detect stuff at 7 meters ?

What's exposed (to flux) area of target?
Which is composition of it ? Ferromagnetic or not ?
What about soil ? Mineralized ?
What about carring ability ? 1 person or more or a vehicle ?

You know... find a coin at 7 meters it's impossible... but if it's a T90...

even old jetco will see it...

But with one good PI we can detect treasure in good depth...
Now we must say what PI is the best in more depth???

Deltapulse seems good but, please members say to us better option to select....

what is your opinion, max?

yes, but do you wanna really my opinion about ? ok... my idea is... other option to delta is hard to make it work: goldscanIV, is absolute champion at depth, between all PI schematics available and around.

But the project is truly hard, full of pitfalls....(now also much old) and are missing informations...e.g. pcb (though seems there's one from Vladimir ?)... tuning/calibration.

Already discussed in other threads...

If you make delta pulse, can make also xr-71 that's about same stuff, can make hammerhead, tuning them is far more easy than gsIV, but still I think GSIV is superior cause works on brute force at tx and refining at RX.

Drain lot of current , of course, but if you wanna depth...

Other PIs... I don't know you can make and gain such advantages in performances.

BTW I don't like PI much... are good toys at beach... and for depth search but for me most of the time useless.

delta pulse and xr-71 have ONE schematic, Max. do not mislead people. these are only names given by two Bulgarians. we know them as Gueorgui Gueorguiev and aban - first has done XR-71, second has done Delta Pulse.

About XR71 I can say that it "Father" XR7 (I had manifactured 3 devices before
XR71) was one very fine designed Pi machine. If you are interesting I can send

For me the max depth has the Superscan from Eric. The detector with original coil (1x1m) can detect a soda can at 1.8 m on ear.

If Eric read this thread, can tell me about the wire diameter of the coil of SuperScan???

Hi,
about delta and XR71:
they are about same stuff... I already wrote that, in my posts.

Just small differences. Schematic is maybe 95% the same.

So performances are about the same at same frequency.

In delta setup frequency is around 100Hz, in XR71 is around 400Hz, but, of course, changing some components values you have about same machine from them.

Was discussed many times already in these forums...

1.8m on air for a can is a fair result. Really powerful.
