Hello Again KT315 , I found this Schematic from another Forum and from a 2005 archive Posting !!! Was this the XR-7 Original ?? After XR6 of course........Thanks.....Eugene

hi Eugene. yours is due 'XR-71' (this schematic was been re-made by Vladimir to more clear view, later). look attached schematic. XR-71 is absoliutely copy of Delta Pulse on 99,9%. one difference is only this switch MANUAL-AUTO (plus a pot), what mentioned in GG's e-mail:

As you good know on pcb are switch for "Manual" - "Auto" tune which was soldered in "Auto" mode in "Aban" pcb.

here 'soldered' means a jumper (the switch was absent). then clearly 'Aban' made 'Delta Pulse', GG made 'XR-71'.

XR7 is clone of DPD2010
XR71p is clone of Delta pulse
Bandido PI is clone of Delta Pulse
Delta Pulse is clone of Eric!!!!
So i think that Eric is the First!!!

This is very diferent from DBP2010, so it is not likely to be the XR-7.
I am looking for the XR7 to carefully compare with DBP2010, but no success so far...

Anyway , A long time ago I saw a clear photo of the XR6 Case , but did not care about all the writing and addresses . I don't agree.
Eric gave to me and to BBsailor a detector that is exactly the same with the XR71p. He made these detectors before years for a wood company.
This is the reason that i say that Eric made first the Xr71. Maybe i make mistake..... but this is the reason that we write here!! to find the true

Geo , KT315 . Do not forget my post #160 of this thread !!! That picture of the XR-6 is the "Missing Link" [The German address and postal code are printed on the case , and the letter's "gmbh" ??? ]. The Sniffer XR-6 was the first in a series of detectors , then XR-7 , then XR-71 which was a modified upgrade. And then after the "German Company went out of business-ALL OF A SUDDEN !!!!AND MIKRON TECHNOLOGY APPEARED All of a Sudden !!!!!...And then Delta PulseAll of a sudden !!!!..I do not know what role Eric Foster played in this but I believe Electronics Design Engineer Eric Foster lives in England , not Germany . Rolf Wilhelm And the copy of XR6"DBP2010" lived in Germany !!! We need to find the Clear photo of the Xr-6 , and it is buried in eastern European forum from around 2004 to year 2005 !!!! All I want is the correct History , and addresses , and more photos , more Schematics . I do not ask for Much !!!!! .I wish someone on this forum or a guest would post photo's and all the information we need to finish this topic , so we can rest and study the lost XR-6 Schematics .We only have about 20 unsolved/unknown metal detector mysteries on this Forum , so one more will not hurt us..........Take care Everyone...........Eugene

your opinion is subjective. look on the schematic more particularly. you see all titles has written NOT in style 'clear english speaking man'.
-- NOISE - what is the noise? where is the noise from? maybe it is fresh wind breeze sea noise! or What? in reality though it is TX POWER or TX SIGNAL WIDTH.
--SIGNAL - brrrrrr... what is the signal? tx signal or rx signal and where is the signal? in reality it is DELAY.
--GAIN. it is SENS. or SENSITIVITY.
--TRS HOLD. maybe though it is THRESHOLD or THRESH.???
--SENS - brrrrrr..... in reality though it is RANGE (time range).
--TUNE. tuning on a ground??? it is absoliutely nonsense! there is NOT a tune on ground! in reality it is RESET or PRESET.
--MIKRON. is not MICRON.

I think Aban might be give us the light, not GG. but clear theirs designs were only RE-designs from one some source we are not aware of now.
