Hello, i have just registered to the forums, sorry, but i start with a question..
Can i use this version with the AN/PSS-12 head (from ebay)? Which firmware can i use for this?
Is the source code available? I have no mega32 at home, i'd not buy one if i could recompile for another chip.

          Thanks in advance!

Its sad that you have stored the various infos on a website that allows only one download before asking for money.

Is it possible for you to store them somewhere else, or even place them here? That is an easy, stable and cheap way to do it. If you need help, any of us here can help you if needed.

Thanks for your help in this matter.

You are most kind and very quick!!!

Maybe we should all post such interesting things ONLY on Geotech, or at least "as well on Geotech"!

Sites which require money need only be used as a last resort I feel...What do the rest of you feel in this matter? Please let me/us know your thoughts, thanks.

                Regards

Please charge it the sch too! With thanks. I put the original one together. Onto gold ignores stable but other metals slightly strangely. :-) Otherwise distinguished little machine this clone pi2.

I looked at the sch. I noticed that the bottom part is not a 4049, but the tl085 is not it?
That's understandable and it is also, why did not respond to my problems yet. :-)

I prepared a smd clonepi2. Pretty good one. Gold is a good indication of my ring, but the iron is uncertain. Copper seems quite stable. Overall, a good one.

Using SMD for metal detectors on Geotech

Well done, I am sure I am not alone in hoping that you post full details one day.

SMD is something we should be doing with more of the Geotech "products" really....once they are working well that is....

May I ask what CAD program you used to design the PCB? I have been suggesting Eagle CAD on several forums here because it is not expensive really and the free version will probably do everything we need as its only restrictions are:-

                        Limitations

The following limitations apply to the EAGLE Light Edition in general:
                        • The useable board area is limited to 100 x 80 mm (4 x 3.2 inches).
                        • Only two signal layers can be used (Top and Bottom).
                        • The schematic editor can only create one sheet.

None of which should not bother us. It has huge libraries and you can easily design your own components if needed.

It takes a bit of getting used to but the help function is really good. You can put in say a normal schematic and it will design the PCB for you. You can then edit the schematic to say SMD components and get an SMD designed PCB......

I also know of a great "Breadboard" CAD that is Eagle compatible for the designers and testers here......ask me if you need details....

Look here for the free download of Eagle:-

Thank you. I only hobby I deal with electronics on a level. I am an anaesthetist otherwise. :-) I hit it on one of the forum a smd clonepi 2 plans. I transformed this because the original schem seemed an a little bit obscure one according to a figure (with Sprint Layout) .
It's working, but not some, than HUMHUM machine (I seen on the video.). Onto the gold objects most stable, but the can be magnetized the display is hopping in the case of metals (1.4.1).
It would be my question to the lords, how it is possible to setup this electronics how in the possible best one without an oscilloscope?
                          Greeting.

How can I fix it without the oscilloscope Cl2? I think the program is a Gaussian curve to place the metal. The iron is unfortunately not on the edge of the signal, but in the middle. The two small wedges underneath each other. I also noticed if you close a piece of iron for the first time in a deep voice sounds just then rising tone frequency. If stable is deep golden. Copper is similar. In the only problem is that a piece of iron located sufficiently deep and confuse him stand to dig furiously. :-)

Hello to all! Although this is an old topic, but perhaps someone could share the Clone PI-2 dualcoil principled scheme? It would be nice if you could find and PCB assembly schemes, since I am a beginner hobbyist. We sincerely thank you for your help!
