  • Hi ,

    my PCB is ready .I test power unit .it work very good without problem

    , only must stay for OPA37.

    see this picture , what is better ? connect pin2 CNY17 to ground or -12 ?

      • Hi 1843 , about resistor (before opto diode) how ?

        for resistor must use what value ? in other circuit like minipuls we don't have

        limited for current because for -5 use convertor but in this circuit for +5 use

        converter voltage and have limited for current and can't use 220 ohm .

        i want know opto diode in optocoupler need what current for drive?

            for DISC I think and speak with other friends in microcontroller forums about

            A/D .best suggest was use micro for A/D bucause using A/D IC is very hard.

            so I use two Atmega8 for A/D (for two channel) and one Atmega32 for

            timing and drive graphical LCD (128*64).

            but I have a little mistak in my schematic (because i don't thinked

            about voltage level between microcontroller and sampler 4051) and try to do this .

            this matal detector can work without LCD with normal DISC .

            but for best DISC must use this MODULE .

            as yet I stay for OPA37

                What a large PCB!
                PD3200 uses an ATmega8 for all the DISCs, battery charger, LCD, GB, keyboard, sound, battery and temperature indicator, etc.
                Even it doesn't have a crystall! Its ATmega8 is run by internal RC circuit at 8MHz.

                  I think Sisco's work is nice... even if board is a bit large.

                  Ok, maybe require a bit of optimization and some parts like MCU can do many tasks at same time... but for now lets concentrate on results... then he'll focus on optimization.

                  We have to see which results on e.g. disc then we'll talk about redundancy reduction.

                      can send me PD3200 original HEX file ?

                      see in large PCB i use one ATmega8 .

                      small PCB for drive graphic LCD (128*64) with high resolation and
                      Precision A/D.

                      i make all my PCB not only for work in one method . may be after few days or months i find better way , must can connect to this PCB so use many connector in my PCB.

                              you can use a 7660, if current required is low, for that or modify the GS4 one reversing diodes etc not difficault

                              • I think 7660 can't supply 11-12 IC current.

                                aboyt GS4 power , I test , this work very good.I need one power supply like this for negative voltage.
