So far i see only rumors on the net.
From my standing point; best what they could do now is to revive old and never forgotten and for ever beloved series 12xx, especially 1265 (1266) model.
I would be the first one in the world to buy it! I swear!
So few things i would like to see changed on it.
Shaft and stem = perfect!
Enclosure = perfect!
Sound, audio = perfect! (they f'cked up BIG TIME with 1270 changes on audio, i swear!)
Coils= close to perfect!
...
I don't like new Fisher designs, those funny and cheap-looking (100% made in China) enclosures, though most of those are having decent performances, to be honest.
New coils also sucks big time! Speaking of quality made and lasting on outdoor use (had hundred of those coils so far on service, 99% faults were caused by weak and low quality cable and very weak and bad coil enclosure parts).
Next very important argument against them are those idiotic sticker-lookalike front panels with soft commands, which fully covering hidden screws , so if you need to service it; you must destroy front panel.
New Fisher models, especially series F are seems projected and designed (only speaking on design and outlook) by complete ignorants, people who never went outdoor with detector.
Inside the box usually there is pretty decent and fine machine, so electronic is alright.
But outlook designers from Fisher must be punished... with hanging BY THE NECK for cheap horror they made!
CZ3D was the last proper machine they offered to market.
I was for 20 years loyal and dedicated Fisher customer and user.
Now i am not.
Guess why?

No, i don't know nothing about any new product yet.
But i wouldn't expect no miracles from them.

Honestly speaking; "modern" Fisher models are all out of any pro league.
Those all are weekend toys, to be used once or twice in the month.
Main reason is; low quality made, bad and weak materials, wrong decisions.
Time to accept that rude truth and move forward.
Time to turn on wireless.
Also time to give some people there HUGE kick out in their arse!
Especially to ones who are deciding on outlook, design, functionality.
But EE's who are designing electronic there; should stay, those guys are doing proper job.
My dream machine would be mcu based 1265 with wireless coil.
Until than Deus is still my favorite of all times.
